Can anyone confirm what tyre load rating we need to maintain on our cars?
Specifically mine is a '98 E320...

Stock tyres were 215/60/16 with a 97 load rating... however something like a 92 is rated to 630kg/tyre which should be more than sufficient for our car's ~1,600kg kerb weight?

I've got an 8.5inch rim up front and want to run something like a 225/40/18 however they are all load rated at 92.
