Transmission help please
So when i start the car i hear some kind of grinding sounds like a a v8 with an exhaust with the volume turned down if that makes any sense. I should post a video of the sound or a sound clip. Has this hapen to anyone else ?
I cant reverse sometimes but it still rides on the road normal after i drive. Its just when i start it i hear alot of noise under the car

It's hard to say what might be wrong. There is a lot of insulation under the car which might have come lose and it is hitting the drive shaft. Or it could be an problem with the transmission since you shifting issues. Or it might be both and the are unrelated. (It happens!

Get it up on a hoist and see what you can find.

Okay now the car will not move at all and has been parked for a couple of weeks,took this video today. any clue guys ?

I'm no mechanic, but given the fact that the car won't move and it sounds like a broken dishwasher, I'd say you might want to start checking bone yards for a new transmission.

seeing as how the 'check engine' light is lit, how about plugging in an OBDII
reader to it and reporting back the Diagnostic Trouble Code which it will be
displaying on the reader?
