for most parts, would want the gap filled between front bumper
and headlights.

got a W210 99 E300, as such, don't think the 00+ bumpers would fit,
even so, bumper + shipping + paint + install, $1k,... is too expensive

so thinking, how about just leave the factory bumper, and fill in the gap ?!
bondo, clay, foam, foil, paint, suggestions ?

that could be done removable, and without removing the bumper ,
cheaper, easier, doable what you think ?

gain a little aerodynamic look,...
it won't look like W211, unless the headlights bottom edge be pulled out,
aka w211 headlights,.... still debating on which headlights to get , chrome, black, halo, angeleyes, depot, DOT,SAE, E-CODE ,...

another question: is it legal to put body kits on, or modify bumper ?

think it will look good, even sportier, if we can pull the bottom edge of the grill out, what would make it more slanted, and less gap, but that be lots of work.

also thinking to add a foam lip on the on the front, right now it's painted black on the bottom 2 inches anyway, maybe just the sides, so the front middle section stays higher, might be even a better look.
the rear sits kinda high , but not sure about a lip there.

oh, once a set is made, would be easy , to use it as a mold, for plastic vacuum or carbon molding,... would be a lot lighter too, and look professional.

maybe junks of balsa wood, and just sand them down, be the least messy,
and lightest, easiest to work with. where can I get large pieces ?

let me know what you think, or am I just a nut ?

cliff notes: you want the face of the car on top, on the w210?

If so, that would look awful, IMO.

& it is legal to put body kits on.

W210 E300 turbo diesel
here is a stock look

here is a $1000 bumper

what I'am talking about just smooth out the gap between bumper and headlights.

of course, one of these be nice too, ecept , only for 00 up models,
and I have a 99,

also be to low for me, already lowered.

so filling in the gap under the headlights and a little rubber lip, maybe a mesh on bottom. so it's not so boxy looking.

any ideas ? plaster, bondo, fiberglass ?
