This is my first post. I purchased my first Mercedes as a project. It's an 2001 E320 that needs a bumper, fender, and both headlights. While I'm waiting on the parts to arrive I decided to start customizing. First on the list was window tint. Should have some wheels this week and the springs installed next week. Here it is. I'll update my pictures in a few weeks after paint.




And 24 hours after I got it.

Congrats! And not bad at all especially if it's alright mechanically. How's the interior?

For headlights, get the projector ones. You can find them on ebay but you do have to swap the projectors out if you want good light output. Makes for a fun project.

It's a higher mileage car but runs and drives perfectly. I went and bought some mobil 1 oil and a mercedes factory filter today. Also ordered the ac regulator because it was bad.

Interior looks brand new, not a stain of mark on any of the leather or carpet.

I'm already there with the lights. I purchased the projector/halo ones yesterday off ebay and they shipped this afternoon from cali. What would you recommend for the lights conversion to help the light production?

I had to go to the dealer to get the fender molding couldn't seem to find anywhere else. It cost my $117 for the 6" strip of rubber in front of the door.

Speaking of body moulding w/ chrome strip, does it come painted or unpainted?

That was unpainted from mercedes. My buddy is a body guy said that most all the moldings he's ever got were painted. Oh well the front's got to get painted anyway and maybe the whole car if the price is right.

I have the same car- minus wreck and mud flaps.... I cant wait to see what this car looks like with the projector head lights. Post pictures asap.
