E300 4Matic Sedan
Seat Covers
Hi Guys,
I'm not sure if this is the right thread to use or not, but I think it is. I recently purchased a 300E 4Matic 1992 that I just love. The problem is my dog-she hates it! I believe it's because the rear seats are slippery and too soft where she doesn't feel sure under her feet. I previously drove a pickup truck where she sat in between the two seats on the floor over the engine. It was hard and flat there.
I was wondering if anyone else had this problem or knew what to do?
Thanks Much,
Carol

300E 4Matic 1992 is a W124
You car is a W124 instead of a W210 but your dog won't know the difference. It could be that she likes a more confined space or to be closer to you while driving. Slipping around on leather seats may not be to her liking. Have you tried putting cardboard over the seat to test your idea of it being to soft? You can get pet mats that are to keep a dog from getting hair all over that are just plastic slip covers that might be harder.
