96 E300 Drivers seat belt squib SRS light
I was rear ended and none of the airbags deployed. However I have my SRS light on. An Indy checked the code and said it was the drivers seat belt squib. I was the only one in the car so the drivers side makes sense. What needs to be replaced? Is it the receiving part of the seatbelt or the belt/retractor side of the seatbelt. How can I know what to replace? Is there anyway to repair it?

Not possible to repair. Works same as an airbag (one time only) presurised gas to put tension to the seat belt wen you got crash.... You need to replace all the driver seatbelt (not the seat plug part) only the B pillar insert. (comes enteire with the black belt stripe)
