how much?

So I got an AMG rear bumper from a member here and the sideskirts. Wondering whats a god price to for getting these items painted. The bumper is just primered as you can see the sideskirts have silver paint.

bonus pic of my dusty car.

Thanks.

I was planning to install them myself. When I get some time I'll call one of the body shops near my house so I can at lease get a ball park figure.

you're looking at around $400 for the bumper and maybe $200 for the side skirts for some decent paint.

Figure I'll stick this here instead of making a new thread.

So since I needed new rotors already I decided to upgrade to bigger brakes. I got brembo calipers from a CL500 and 330mm rotors from an SLK32. I have not got them mounted yet but I will post pics when I do. Should be this weekend.

Before

Brembo (for cheap)

Test Fit

New rotors

Painted and waiting to put on decals and clear

So I order the wrong rotors. Rears instead of fronts, I thought they looked funny when I took them out of the box. The right ones will be here later this week.
In the mean time I finished painting the calipers and test fit them with my 17s.

Wheels are very dirty

Been meaning to update this but I'm lazy. The correct rotors are in and they mount up fine. I had to bend the dust shield a little so it would not rub.

The reason its not all done yet is because I have a 4matic. The angle at which the brake line comes out of the caliper would make it rub on the cv axle which would not end well.

I am waiting on some parts to resolve the issue and hope to have it all put back together by the end of the month. I miss driving the car, its been sitting on jack stands for about 2 months now.

Calipers - $200 - ebay C32 calipers fit the w210 as well but cost more because they are from an AMG. CL500 and CLK 500 calipers take a slightly smaller rotor and are much easier to find/cheaper.
Rotors - ~$160
Paint, decals, misc tools - $40

finally done
This is what I ended up using for the brake lines.

bleeding the brakes

Will post some better pics of the setup soon. This mod would be easy on a non-4matic car.

Thanks Flatline.
Looking at these pictures I see why people think my car is black

I still have not gotten that AMG bumper painted so I guess that will be my next project.

Pull up to the scene with my mirror missin'

I found some facelift mirrors on ebay for cheap. The seller I bought the passenger side from thought it was black but it was actually midnight blue .

Had to wire them up to work. Still have not connected the blinkers, will do that when its not so cold in my garage.

I have to get this one painted when I get my AMG rear painted. Maybe when it warms up

Recent Pics. Nothing really new. Over the summer I added bigger brakes C32 calipers/rotors on the front. Other than that I have just been dealing with an annoying P0400 code.
