1996 E320
HID Ballast
Hey everyone,
I've done some troubleshooting on my 96 E320 with factory HIDs and looks like I have a bad ballast on the passenger side. I'm having a difficult time finding a used oem replacement for this. What are my options if I can't find a factory replacement? Anyone have any recommendations? I haven't checked yet but would the dealer carry these?

if you are talking about having to replace a 15 yr old ballast, i personally would
think that it's time to upgrade to newer technology anyway. though you should
probably get them as a matching pair. minor retrofitting may be in order and
which would splice into your OEM harness. someone experienced in HID retro-
fitting should be able to help you and give you recommendation. i would suggest
heading over to HIDPLANET.COM forum.
