Buy or not buy? 2000 E320 Sedan
Looking at a 2000 E320 AWD sedan with 120K miles. The seller will take $5800.
When I drove it I noticed when braking at highway speeds, there was a vibration. Not sure what that is, suggestions?
Also she (seller) said it needs a new undercarriage, which I've never heard a car needing before.
Body is OK, some scratches on the hood and the passenger side door.
It will need new tires soon.
I will take it to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection, but I figure I'd run this by you all and get some feedback.
Appreciate any replies.

The price seems high to me.
At 118,000 miles I evaluated rebuilding the front end, replacing rotors and pads, and doing a tune-up. My engine/transmission, body and interior are in very good condition and I figured it was maybe worth $3800.
Does she have maintenance records? If the front end hasn't been rebuilt, it could be due. Between brakes, front end and decent tires and maybe new plugs you could be looking at up to $3000 more if you do it yourself.
Be sure to have front spring perches checked for rusting.
