exhaust noise
i have a rattling noise comming from my exhaust on my 2002 e320 can anyone tell me whats going on thanks

Broken catalystic converter (primarys or secondarys) or both if they comes close to the engine bay compartment.. if they come in the middle/rear of the car you would have a rusted center resonator, if they come for the rear of the car you would have a rusted final resonator

I'm inclined by the Catalistic converter

Last year I was getting that rattling noise from my center resonator.
I was planning to replace it but got too busy. After about four months the noise went away by itself.
