m104 top end
after the car sat for a year the engine ceased to chatter. it would have to be ran hard to start the ticking again. now it makes noise. previous owner drove it with low oil. so im guessing that the tappets are making the noise. paint lifting on the top of the engine makes me assume no oil is not getting to it. any recommendations to silence it. engine restore, whymes tapper cleaner, or som other dino mix. trying not to replace the whole top end.
