Left side of the engine is shuting down
So I currently have a E320 Mercedes. When ever I start the car up it runs fine for about 30 seconds and then gets really rough. So I took my car into the shop for then to run test. According to the mechanic the Driver side of the engine isn't running. All three fuel injectors aren't working at the same time. He has two options on fixing them. Tearing the it apart to check to see if the wires have came undone and are shorting out if they are touching. The other option is he thinks the computer has gone bad in the car. He suggest to buy a used computer and replace. Any suggestions on what else it could be? Which option is more likely? If a computer is required does anyone else know where to find one at a good price?

I just had a bad injector reek havic on my bank 2 last week. Shut my whole car down and locked up all the cylinders on drivers side. Super ruff idle with a bad gas smell. It turned out it was cylinder 5 and spread enough gas to throw hard codes on all of bank 2 and sent fuel into my oil so I needed an oil change and it had one 500 miles before this. I removed, cleaned, and replace it. Now she runs fine. Although I think it ruined my o2 sensor. If you have an OBD2 tester, you can run a test to see what your fuel trim is doing. I'm asuming you got a check engine light. I think either way you may need to replace them. I wouldnt go any futher then replacing injectors and see how that goes first. This is just my 2 cents. You may need the option of the Star. Some problems are imo to bad for a layman to diagnous. If some verterans would read this and give a better option that would be helpful.
