I assume you have the self-leveling system. I think it is standard on wagons. In front of the windshield washer reservoir on the left side. It is a recirculating system which handles both power steering and rear self-leveling. It takes a special fluid (MB Part No. on cap) and has a filter on the underside of the cap. Filter is some times described as a sediment filter.
