96 E300D start-up issues
I own a 1996 E300 Diesel with 220,000 miles. Just recently had the radiator replaced, shifter replaced, and interlock cables replaced (this was from bill). A week later the vehicle would not start. Called the same Mercedes mechanic and they said it might be starter, but from even else I have talked to the stated a starter either works or doesn’t work, there is no “in between”. I get a very slow turnover like the battery is dying, so I replaced battery with Duralast with 950 cold cranking Amps. Car still will not start, but still get the slow turnover. I have read a lot of issues regarding the K40 relay but just want some other opinions before buying replacing. Any ideas are greatly appreciated and pictures are very much welcomed.
