High beam not working...

anybody know where the high beam realy would be on a 2001 e-430? or any other ideas why the high beam would not go on...thanks

Have you checked the fuse with a tester? Ext. lighting fuses are in panel at end of dash. Separate fuse for each high beam.

not the fuse cus it worked once in while. then it high beam would go on when i put the right blinker on and now it will not go on at all. thinking it must be a switch or relay....thanks

I had a problem with my high beams. My 01 had a bad combo switch. The blinkers/wipers worked fine, just the high beam function was shot. Pretty simple diy. remove air bag, remove steering wheel, remove switch...reinstall. I think there is a diy tutorial on this site or maybe benzworld.
