Question Help my mirror fell off????

Hey my right mirror has been like flapping a little for some time, and today I got my subs put in and sure enough when I parked in my friend slammed the door and it fell out and was just held on by the cable, It appears to have all the right clips and such, but I would like to fix this without a trip to the stealer ship. Any help would be much appreciated.

Depending on the year of your E class, you will have to bend the mirror back and pull back the pin on the top and bottom to release the mirror cover. Once the cover is off, attach the glass back on with the pins behind it. You will see what I mean once you hold the glass up to the assembly. Once you have attached the glass, slide the cover back on the frame until it sits all the way back down against the base, the clip snaps back into place and you cannot pull and remove the cover. I will attach 2 pics. on the clip and pins...
