Unhappy Fender Bender
I got into a lil fender bender today.....Im in need of a new Bumper for a 97 E-320 W210. Anyone have one laying around? I saw this ad in E-bay ..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2415117361

Its not a bad price. $200....
It doesn't come with the chrome strip along the top though...

Anyone also have the passenger side headlight housing?

One last thing...... Would i be better off getting an after market bodykit?

Get the kit
Sorry to hear about your bender or in this case your bumper buster. If you ever wanted to get a kit, now is the time to do it. At least you are not tossing away a good bumper and paint and installation may be the same costs as going back to stock. If you tell people that you had paint work done when the kit was installed it will sound better than a fender bender.

Get the E55 bumper cover, looks nicer, if you buy a new one is like 1,100.00

Anyone have any suggestions on a lower cost body kit? I wasn't looking to spend 1100 on the E55 kit.... I still have to pay for the other ladies car. Anyone have a used kit or know anyone who is looking to sell one?

Tommy sorry to hear about your accident, good luck in finding a "low-cost" custom front bumper for your Benz. $200 is not a bad deal at all but you have to also factor in the cost for freight to you. Also, I noticed the bumper, aside from the chrome strips, is missing a part of the lower vent, the foglights and the corner lights. He also mentions that the bumper has been damaged before and then repaired. You might want to consider all of these factors and the cost involved of making it complete. What color is your Benz? Also, how much do you want to spend in total (including shipping & painting)? I will check my sources and see if I can find you one.

$1,100 includes the fog lights too.

It is actually not a bad price for a factory 99 and pre E55 new bumper cover.

I agree, pretty good price for brand new but you can get an OEM used one in great shape from the junkyard for $650 w/out foglights. This is the sport AMG bumper for the 96-99 W210. Let me know if you need the info...

I just picked up a '97 E320 benz and was interested in purchasing an AMG front bumper and side skirts for a reasonable price. I've searched a few sites and IMHO the prices are a little high. I would greatly appreiciate information on places I can purchase parts at a reasonable price. I also would like to purchase the entire center console.

Sorry, wish I could help out there in Boston but I don't know of any places out there. How much do you want to spend (apprx) for the front and sides? Do you want a rear bumper also? I can try my local junkyards for you if you would like but would have to get a quote on shipping as well. PM me your zip code and let me know if you are serious and would like me to check for you...
