Engine rattle gone after A/C service?!
I have a 'problem solved' but want to understand 'why'...lol!
My 320CDI (Inline 6) often made a soft rattling noise under accelleration, it sounded like a bad valve tappet or something.
The other day my A/C got a leaktest, a recharge and the dealer had any errors reset with stardiag. Since my A/C is fully working and blowing cold again the 'engine rattle' is gone! If it even was an engine rattle? Before the recharge my EC light wasn't coming off, so the compressor/clutch wasn't engaged...
Anyone?!
