Missing engine compartment decal

I'm looking for some help regarding a sticker or decal that seems to be missing from my 2001 E320 (California Vehicle). Below are two pictures and am hoping that someone could tell me what's missing from the left-side of the engine bay. Also, is there one missing from the top of the fuse box?

EDIT: Okay, I'm told there is nothing missing from the fuse-box side, so I removed that image. I've added two pictures that shows a decal (bottom decal) that is missing from mine. I'd appreciate if someone could tell me what decal is missing or post a picture.

Thank you very much!

The decal you are referring to is the decal/diagram of the emission control equipment (California version). All the decals, logos, name plates, etc are available from the dealer and pretty inexpensive. Most have the part number printed near the bottom. It looks from the discoloration that yours came off at some point.

FYI, the case with the decals is called the 'apparatus case' and contains the ECU, ESP and other electronic controllers.

BTW, you keep your engine very clean.

Thanks for the information, RichardM98. Now I know what to ask for when I call the dealer.

I've never washed under the hood, other than wiping down some of the parts a couple of times. She turned 10 years-old last April, and hit 7,500 miles yesterday, and has never been driven in the rain, which I'm sure is why it looks so good in the engine compartment.

Thanks again,

Looks like I need a little more help. I called Mercedes but was told they have a list of decals, but it doesn't give the actual placement on the vehicle, so he's not sure which one I am missing.

Could someone either post a picture or the part number that is located on the bottom of this decal? I need the information on the decal that is just above the decal that says Battery Under Rear Seat.

Thank you,

That decal has a bar code with the VIN of your car. It is not available from MB. It is printed one time only per the unique vehicle and is not available.

Here's a photo shot of my brother-in-laws 2001 E320. The 'missing' decal (A2105843221) on my vehicle is the second one down from the top on his vehicle. Strange the Mercedes doesn't place the decals in the identical location; both of these vehicles are 2001 E320 / California cars. Sent my local dealer an email, requesting the availability of getting a replacement, but have not heard back yet.

Hi Richard
It is the second one down with the bar code I was referring to. I was told by the MB dealer, Bobby Rahal MB, In Pittsburgh, that the decal cannot be ordered as the bar code is unique to the particular vehicle. If you find out different let me know as part of mine has been chipped off too.

The W210s were built in a number of different plants such as in Germany, Austria, etc. That is the reason for the differences in location.
