Sway bar rear end links flimsy?

Hey guys,

So I had the H&R sway bars installs along with Bilstein sport shocks. I also had the Pex front (2103203689) & rear (1243200289) end links replaced too since it was cheap. Two months after the installation, I heard there's this metal banging the chassis kind of noise. It turned out the right rear end link snapped. So I guess the noise was from the movement of the sway bar while the car was turning. See pic for reference.

Does any of you guys know if any companies make metal sway bar end links for the rear? I can't believe Mercedes use plastic for the end links in the rear. I know the front uses metal, just hoping that if some of you know they are available.

Just a thought, do you think it snapped was due to more stress/tension with thicker sway bars, and stiffer suspension?
