problems to look for in a 1997 E320??

Problems
I would check for operational problems with the moon roof and the rear windows. Check the AC controls for the fan speed and the overall function of the buttons. Fan speed regulators have been known to go out. The power seat adjustments get used a lot so check them for correct motion. Look for oil leaks around the head gasket. Depending on the mileage you may need new lower control bushing in the front. Check for popping noises when cornering or just push up and down on the front end. You might check the electric cooling fans in front of the radiator for any noises. Any electrical motorized device that might get used a lot. The rear windows are probably the first to stop working because they are cable driven.
