Hi, i bought a 1996 E300 Diesel Mercedes with only the physical master key not the remote. when i push the key into the driver door do deactivate the central locking system the only look that open is the driver door the other three stays lock. I then push the physical key in the ignition and gets the red and green lights. I thought that the physical key was suppose to deactivate the central locking system and unlock all the doors. Can someone help me with this issue.

You need the remote to disable the driver authorization system. Without the remote you cannot start the car.
