Exclamation ABS Brakes

I'm wondering if my ABS brakes work properly. When it rains, and when I brake hard, I do see the orange triangle flash on the dash, and feel and hear the ABS is working there, but the car doesn't stop fast at all, it just sort of skids (no, wheels are not locked up) it just feels like the ABS triggers too fast, and it goes.. lock brakes, unlock, lock, unlock and so forth... but it seems like it locks to fast so when it locks the brakes, I feel like I'm skidding. Kinda hard to explain.

The triangle will flash if the wheels are spinning. You will get that when it rains a whole lot no worries tho it has nothing to do with the abs. My car always does it on the rain or when im going up my drive way.

actually, the tingle doesn't flash when I break hard.... the problem is not with traction, or acceleration, its with braking, It will break good, but as soon as the wheels slip on the road (during braking) i just feel like i'm sliding on the road, even though i hear the abs is working.
