Adding rear facing seats to storage area (not factory installed)
Is it possible to buy the seats and add them to an existing car that didn't have them added from the factory?
This would be over in Germany / Romania, not in the USA.
Just having trouble locating a car meeting my requirements, and wondered if I might be able to get 7 seats total after the fact.
Wanting E320, 4 wheel drive, Diesel, under 200k km, euro 4 (green), and 7 seats, wagon...with the car located in Germany, Hungary, or possibly even Romania... Lowest I can find is about $32kUSD...
If I eliminate the seat requirement, it gets *much* cheaper.
So, is it possible to do this to a car that didn't have the two rear facing seat option installed from the factory?

Yes it is possible to add post sale. You will need to purchase the brackets as well as the seat back and bottom, color matched to your new cars purchase of course. They can be obtained from local salvage yards.
