Comand Install - another success by Steve
Comand Install - W210
Just Installed....
I just returned from NY/NJ area last night where STEVE installed my euro Comand System plus my new Nokia 6310i integrated phone in my 2000 E320 4matic. (Several dealers had told me it couldn't be done!) I could not be happier with the job STEVE did. It's unbelievable to watch him work. This guy is a craftsman and you can be 100% confident that he knows exactly what he's doing. As soon as I have time I'll post a few pictures of the new Comand and the new phone, too. Thank you, Steve!
Just Installed....

Steve, I emailed you because your PM box was full but not reply.
I prefer the look of the blink mirrors on C-Class, CLK, S-Class instead the stubby blinker on 2002 E-Classs. Can any of them be swapped? Just from a casual look the W203 mirror looks very similar in size and shape to the W210. Thanks.

99 E320 SEDAN
bad instrument cluster 99 E320
Has anyone had trouble with the instrument cluster on any of the newer W210 models? My 99 E320 cluster (odometer, time, temp, etc.) is not readable. It is blanking out with a bunch of linear lines running through it. I've been told a new one is $730. I was wondering if this is somehow repairable. Any suggestions? The car is in perfect condition and only has 63k miles.

You can get a cluster for around $50 to $100 on Ebay. Some sellers even can tell you how many miles are on the cluster or you can get it reprogrammed at the dealership with your mileage.
