Vibration depending on the road surface?
Hi there. My 96 e320 benzy developed a problem. When I drive on the highway my steering wheel and the gas pedal start to vibrate(regardless of speed). The vibration starts and goes away depending on road surface I think.
And then yesterday i jacked up my car to try to figure out what the problem was and found my right front tire has almost no thread left on its inner edge. Any idea what the problem might be? Danke.

I would start with an alignment and see what they say.

Ditto to an alignment but I've read these cars are finicky so not all alignment shops can do the job properly. For this I would use a dealer or a very experienced MB indy.
