1996 E320 Cuts out at 1,500 RPM

I recently purchased a 96 E320 in excellent condition. 86,000 miles my Uncle took excellent care of it. Just recently I was driving the car and it started to act like it was stalling on me. It would only rev up to 1,500 rpm's and then cut out exactly at 1,500 rpm's. I pulled over and let it idle for about 3-4 minutes and then it ran perfect. About 3 days later it did it again and after letting it idle for a few minutes it was fine. It has happened about 10 times over the last month. I had the air flow sensor replaced and that didn't fix it. Any ideas?

Could be your spark plug connectors.
Find out how long ago your spark plugs were replaced and it might be wise to replace both at the same time.
