Battery in remote died

Battery in remote died..can't unlock doors
Battery in remote died so I changed them 
but now the unlock button doesnt work .Lock works and the trunk works but unlock does nothing . I put the key in and started the car thinking maybe it had to resync shut the car off and nothing same problem lock and trunk are fine but no unlock any help would be great as this is my only key
