fog lights
does anyone know if theres any aftermarket headlights that will fit the 96-99 carlsson front bumper, i have the stock ones in now but their hidin and can't really be seen, i want something that fills that hole and comes out to the front of the bumper more??? let me know if you guys can help

I would also be interested if anyone has any suggestions as I will be installing my new Carlsson front bumper next week and also do not like the way the stock foglights look. I might try experimenting with some aftermarket ones and will post results if successfull.

Not yet its 5 weeks to get it all i know is that they have 2 different front bumpers one is for stock fog lights and there is sport one with thrir fogs.

Can't you use the fog lamps from a '99 E55, then use crack resistant plexi-glass by cutting it out to the opening of the carlsson fog lamp opening, then making a hole for the fog lamp. The plexi can even be painted from the inside to whatever color you want and can be protected by a piece of clear vinyl from clearbra?
That's what I would do. But I don't have that bumper yet so I can't try it. I bought the plexi for work on a xenon conversion. Heard on the Philips lighting forum that it's good stuff.

michakaveli, that sounds like and interesting idea. I am just wondering how that will look. I will try and price some E55 foglights out and see what I come up with. They're usually pretty expensive, even at the junkyards...

I aked the guy from autowerks and he said that ther is two bumpers one for stock and the other he called sportline i dont know whats up meaby they just want the $399 and those fog lights won't even fit.
But what you guys saing that for the Carlsson bumper my stock foglights will fit but it dont look good or what.

jimmy this is a idea that i saw, there was a car on one of the forums that i saw, it has the auto couture bodykit but the front looks simliar to the carlsson, heres a link check it out i saw something that looks like what this has had, its the hella aux lamps ff50 series, i'm gonna try something like this and maybe have to shave a little off on the kit, gotta just see, let me know what you think?

They really did this car right? The updated front bumper from Auto Couture is really sick! Those foglights are oval in shape which is pretty different from our bumpers. Did you get a price for the foglights? I will be more than happy to help you figure this out and install them on your car if you get them. Let me know what details you found out as I am now curious...

Ok that guy from autowerks called and he said that ther is only one bumper and its for stock fogs.
I got question about Carlsson front bumper tha original engine cover on the bottom fo the car will i still be able to use it after i put on the Carlsson body kit.
And what is the body kit made out of will it be perfect fit?
Those chrome moldings on bumper i use from my stock one or the body kit comes with them?

Alex, thanks for the update. I am still looking around myself and will let you know if I come across anything interesting.
Hubert: I knew there was only one bumper for the front from Carlsson for the stock foglights only. I have their price list in front of me right now. As for the OEM cover on the bottom, I have not installed mine yet but I think you still use it. Alex would be better to answer this since his is on. Don't worry about the body-kit fitting your car, it will fit perfectly. Alex's front bumper looks great and my Carlsson rear fit like a glove. The chrome moldings are the ones from your OEM bumper. All you have to do is remove them and install them on the new one. I hope this helps. Please let us know if there is anything else...J

There is only one mor thing about sid skirts are they like AMG you skrew them on or like RIEGIER chep oner that go only on glue,

Oh, I almost forgot. In answer to your question, the side skirts that Alex and I have clip on with the OEM clips that you can purchase at the dealer. I don't really know how the Carlsson skirts mount...
