My car sometimes feels like it is choking out.

I step in the gas and it feels as if it's not getting gas. It's not the fuel pump because most of the time the car runs great and I have no noise.

One time I started the car and every time I stepped on the gas it stalled out. I waited 15min and it drove fine. I have no problem starting the car and it doesn't shut off when running, but sometimes I give it gas and nothing happens and then boom it kicks in...It's not the trans.

I have changed the MAS a few years back when it threw codes and the car ran rough. I have no codes.

Would a CPS cause this? Should I start their or buy another MAS

Any indeas?

Thanks!

Def. not a plug problem because it rarely happens and when it doesn't the car runs like a top. I thought about the fuel filter, I will change it.

It feels more like a sensor/electrical.

The fuel filter is under the car right?

PS. The car has 62K miles on it.

Thanks for the in-site.

FYI It was the MAS.

I had the problem today and I pop the hood and disconnected the MAS and it ran better without choking.

Thanks for the feedback!
