Correct Pentosin Brake Fluid?
I have a '99 E320 wagon and ordered Pentosin brake fluid from an online parts company. They shipped Dot4 LV. Is this equivalent to the Dot4 Plus?
The 1st MB dealer said "I'm pretty sure..."
The 2nd MB dealer said No.
The ISO number on the label is the same as the Plus, acc. to the dealer.
The LV boiling point is similar: 509Fahrenheit vs. the 500F for the Plus.
The LV wet boiling point is 338F. The Plus is 350-something.
The LV's SAE number is different than the Plus.
Just don't want the hassle of sending this back. If the LV won't harm the wagon, I'd just as well use it.
Thanks for any help!

No artic climes around here, though I’ve yet to boil fresh OE-specification Pentosin 'Super DOT 4' during vigorous brake usage.

One MB-only independent shop said they use Castrol Dot4 fluid; and the LV temperatures all match up to those listed for Super. So what harm could it do? I will go ahead and use it. Thanks for all the responses.
