02 E320 4Matic wagon rear springs
I have a new to me 02 E320 4Matic wagon with 146k miles
Car was Starmark and dealer maintained to 100k and I have spoken to the PO's indy who indicates it was well maintained by him 100-145k
The rear suspension is a little "clunky" on sharp bumps,perhaps a little worse at lower speeds.
I replaced the accumulators and the rear sway bar links [vertical links] and it seems better.
I am leaning toward the rear "shock" mount "buffers" [rubber at top] but do not know part numbers to source these. Anyone help?
The other item I am considering is rear springs but I have not seen anyone replacing them in this vintage short of lowering the car. PO's indy did indicate that their latest invoice suggested replacing rear springs as they were "worn".
I have seen an old post that suggested the rear suspension will get noisy when springs get tired as the SLS engages to raise the tired springs. However I suspect that if this is true it only is indicative that the "shock" mount rubbers are worn.......I would be surprised if the rear suspension is intended to be noisy when loaded
Anyone help me source/part numbers for coil springs? What about "cups" at top and bottom of springs?

I should have mentioned....
My closest dealer is 40 miles away
When I visited there last week they would not print the VMI for me,claims it is proprietary
8? years ago when I bought my 1991 300TE 4Matic they printed me 25 pages of service records
