ground effect help!

I have a 1997 E420 and I was wondering if a 00+ AMG front bumper cover will fit on my car...It looks like it will, but I know 00+ changed a little..Can this fit, or will ALOT of mods need to be done.....Also, do you think 250$ shipped is a good deal.

The local Benz dealler once told me that it is possible but needs a bracket or something extra. Try speaking with the Benz imorter first. Good luck!

You also need to replace your hood,headlights ,fenders....

As Benz said, you would have to practically swap out your entire front end for a MY00+ front bumper to fit on a 96-99. $250 is not a bad deal but it will not fit your car! IMO, just go with a Brabus, Carlsson or something like that which are direct bolt-ons.

It depends on what a "good price" is to you. Unless you go with an aftermarket Lorinser or Brabus add-on kit which I have seen run for around $4-500 bucks, you probably will be spending around $2000 on a complete OEM Carlsson or Brabus kit. They are not cheap and you also get what you pay for. You can try Autowerksdirect and speak to Randall. He is very cool to deal with and will give you any info. you seek. Good luck on your project...J
