Speedo-cruise - hunting downhill
From Tyke......E220 - A 1995 Sportline
....has anyone experienced similar.......the speedo-cruise performs OK whilst there is load on the transmission, i.e. going even slight up-hill, on level road, or with passengers........BUT with a slight downhill the control produces "hunting" .....as though switching from "go faster" to "power off" at 5 second intervals.
It seems as though the controller does not switch off power and stay switched off..... when road speed exceeds speed setting by a small margin.
......where is the durned controller......anyone know ?
