cosmetic upgrade
my dad has a 97 e420 and wants to upgrade cosmetic wise to 2000+... what do i need to make it look newer such as tail lights, blinking side mirrors and that sos anthenna. anything else i might need. i need some advise on other things i might need. i really dig that one car "wanna be E55" what brand is that trunk lid thing and does it only come in chrome?
the car already has 19's and is dropped about 1.5 inches, we are looking for a kit for it now just need to be pointed in the right direction. thanks guys

The rear bumper and side rocker panels will bolt right on from a MY00+ W210 but the front bumper will not. You will have to go with a custom front bumper from like Brabus or Carlsson or something but you will still have the separation between the bumper itself and the panels under the headlights. As for the blinking mirrors, you will have to rewire them to work with you car and run the wires for the blinkers into the door sills. You can buy as a fake antenna for the roof but that's not my style. Also, IMO do not rebadge the car to an E55 or something as that's not what the car is.
