Rear Dome light problem
My W210 E240 '2000 Avantg. has parktronic included in the rear dome light. The problem is that only the parktronic works, Dome and reading light don't. Checking up all fuses + and things are just fine. So I began taking out the whole module out and disconnect the 2 cables (red pair and blue pair). Here is the result.
If I reconnect only the red pair, the Dome light will now work perfectly but reading light and parktronic will die.
If I reconnect red then the blue pair, All light works, but for just 2 seconds then dimmed out and it will never come on again no matter what. However, parktronic will remain operative.
In the MB CD, it says one thing about logic that the light will dim out automatically if it detects overvoltage.
Please advise what should i do.
