02 E320 Wipers stopped working SRS light on
2002 e320 with wiper that when stalk is clicked on the SRS light comes on weak and sometimes bright and flickers. Sometimes the wipers do work but most of the time the SRS light comes on and the wiper will not work. Wiper motor was replaced with a new one but still the problems occur. This is driving me crazy. Any help would be appreciated.

My best guess is the
contact spiral
MB# 2104600049
is damaged.
This is not a DIY.
I suggest you take it to the dealer for repair.
The SRS must be disarmed, removed, and the car reprogrammed after the repair.

It could be a DIY if you understand all the risks and take all the necessary precautions.
Disarming the SRS simply requires disconnecting the battery and waiting a couple of minutes.
If you replace all the components with the battery disconnected the SRS light will not be triggered.
Clock Spring is just a wire, not a computer(on all the cars I've ever worked on, if there is any electronics in it for W210 plz correct me) therefor no reprogramming is required.
However it certainly would not hurt to get the codes read-out beforehand to make sure that it is in fact the clock spring. I would recommend a knowledgeable Indy over Dealer any day for this and many other repairs, it'll be cheaper and sometimes even done better.
Good luck.
