Head Light Housing '99 E320

Unfortunately ran into a dear last night. The dear is fine and ran off into the night, but my head light isn't. The back housing snapped where it's attached to the car, other than that no damage done.
Does anyone know if the housing of a normal head light fits a Xenon head light? This would safe me from getting a whole new assembly.
Thanks for your help.

If you want to be very sure visit the free MB EPC site put in your VIN and you will be able to quickly answer your own question.

However my guess is, NO they are not the same!!

If it's a clean break in the plastic, you could try Permatex Plastic Weld to glue it back on, let it set overnight and reinstall. I've used it on many broken attachment tabs with success.

The housing is too damaged, and totally different from the regular housing. I'm having it taken care of by the insurance since just the light, even second hand, is about $350.00 more than my deductible. Thanks for the suggestions though.
