Question on w210 rims.
I have a 1997 e 420 sport that needs new rims. I looked at a set yesterday that supposedly were the stock rims from a 2001 e430. However there was no offset number, just 8jx17h2. Also they said made in u.e. they had 235/45/17 tires on and were 5 spoke. Could these really be stock? Also why no offset number? Any way to find out w/o buying?

Do you have a pic of those rims you looked at?
Are you looking to keep stock? aftermarket?
Also what city, country or state are you at? maybe some one close can help you some how...

No picture, but im pretty sure they were aftermarket for w211, i tried to match up lug bolt.stock or aftermarket, preferably 5 spoke. Currently in rhode island for next few weeks. A guy offered me some rims and tires, stock, off a c32 amg 17x7.5 front 17x8.5 back 225/45/17 and 245/40/17 back. Not sure of offset, but web says they should be 37 and 34 back. Friend said i may have to use spacers and tires were a bit light for w210. I had amgs off a c202 on the 1997 car, that i think were stock. 2024000302 part number. At this point i would settle for some stock e430 wheels.
