Mercedes Benz E500
I need help, I have a 2003 E500 and my battery light is on. But when I take the gas cap off and put it right back on the light goes out. Only for the trip..... Batterys are all goods and alternator ....... Thanks Debbie

Wrong forum mate, try the W211 forum. But, this cars have some troubles with the battery module, or one relay located under the black plastic under the wipers (Right side) i replace one of this relays last month to solve a problem in to a E500 same as yours. pretty cheap. It active or deactive to charge the front small battery when it's needed, when fail, the front battery runs under 11v and turn on the battery light in the instrument cluster
