I need some help!!! In the middle of trying to remove my shift assembly. Cannot get the center console completely off. Have everything off except the rear w the air duct. Can't figure out how to get it off the rest without breaking something. pLease help ASAP.thanks

Do yourself a BIG favor, do a forum search or there are loads of DIY's on the subject on the web.
A good place to start is "YouTube" and once again search MB center console removal and you will have enough movies for a week. Good Luck!!

I searched YouTube for exactly tht and came up empty handed. I see threads but no pictures. I need to know how to get the back part off got everything else very easily

Assuming you have removed the two 10mm nuts under the carpet in the stowage compartment-----then unclip the rear cover at top and pull cover upwards-------all the rest you say you have removed--------that being the case-----lift up and out--job done
