2001 E430 Leather
I have a 2001 E430 Sport with light tan leather interior. The drivers seat leather seems terrible. Any known problems I should discuss with the dealer? Any other suggestions ?
The drivers seat looks worn or discolored over a large area in the upright section and the bolster. I see a small crack starting in the bolster area!
This car has 12,000 miles on it, and spends most of its time out of the sun in a garage. I also had a 1997 E320, same tan interior, 30k miles when I sold it, and the leather looked like new.
Leather in both cars treated regularly with Zymol leather treatment.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks, Lou

'04 Silverado Z71 - sold all my Benzes and need another!
Sorry but I am not too familiar with Zymol leather treatment. But I am familiar with Leatherique. The Rejuvinator Oil and Prestine Clean is one of the best leather restoration and maintenance products that I have even used. I highly recommend their products. Do a seach on Leatherique for testimonials of these products in this forum. You should also post this thread in the Detailing section of this forum for some more feedback.
