I recently found an opportunity to get an e55 Suspension setup for my 98 E320. The setup is from a 2001 e55 but that shouldnt be a problem for a 98 I was told?
After reading up and seeing how it decreases body roll I was curious if it also lowers the E320 a bit. I assumed it would but want to know if anyone has this setup and can speak from experience.

I did not find all the info I was looking for searching and just curious what people think of this.

You can do that, just replace shocks, springs, spring pads, front/rear sway bar's and thats it. you would love this mod in your car, i do that in to a E420 last year (Yes you can) with pretty cool driving experience after the job. And yes, this set-up lowered the car by an inch or more if you want to play with the spring pads (#1 all round)

I want better handling and of course lowering to drop my new wheels I put on their so this will be the recipe.

Should be a good upgrade for you. Let us know where this seller is if you wind up not doing this project to your car.
