Worth it?

My wife doesn't want a lot of changes to "her" car ('99 E430), but the body roll and soft suspension drives me crazy when I'm driving it (I drive an S4).

Is it worth it to upgrade the anti-sway bar to an AMG or Eibach and see if the spring pads can be swapped out for shorter ones even though I have to keep the stock tires/wheels (16" -- uugh) and suspension?

Thx!

Even with the sway bar upgrade and the smaller spring pads, you will still have some roll and the same soft, floaty like feeling from your stock shocks and springs. I replaced mine with H&R Sport springs and Blistein SP Sport shocks and the ride completely changed. It's more aggressive with a stiffer ride (not bouncy) and it has less roll. It dropped my car about 1.4" but I'm on 19's with 35's. Not sure how it will look with 16's...

01 E240 Avantgarde
soft suspension?

is the 97 E430 using the same suspension as 01 E240 AV?

Cause my E240 Avantgarde feel rather hard.
(and extremely hard compare with our 07 Lexus Es300)
