I have a 99 e430 and the power window switches do not work.
I tried and cleaned contacts with electrical cleaner but nothing.
I randomly tried to see if they work and every now and then windows do go down and up.
but after turning car off and on again,
they stop working. any ideas on what it can be?

I thought it was a faulty switch as well, but when I tried a used working one the same thing happens it still doesnt work. and a new one cost over $400.

 

I tried but still nothing happens.
