post of ages of everyone in here
i'm really curious: of those who are 21 and younger here, did you get your ride on your own?
Where I grew up, 16 year olds would literally get a CLK or some other expensive car for their b-day and floss like they got it on their own. I mean absolutely no offense, but it seemed really silly to me, the kids' attitudes.
hm, then again, maybe it's b/c here I am at 23, just got my Platinum Tiffany (that's my zippy C230K's name....yes, platinum! not silver
) last november, on my own and proud of it! (Did i just hypocritically display a silly kid's attitude? good grief....) Thank God I barely made the 3x DMV registration fee cut....
o, but then when i got my lil baby last year, my family gave me grief about why i was driving such a luxury car....when my 16 year-old cousin got a '98 C240 for her b-day. hm...
BTW, how am i doing on this age vs. benz status check?
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
74 years young! My first one was a '64 190 Diesel automatic. Always had Diesels later on until the last one, an '86 which did not run right after it was broken in. Took to surging at highway speeds under certain atmospheric conditions. MB finally fixed the problem by replacing it with an '88 E320 plus another $5Gs, (Ks now-a-days.) Love this one, best car I ever owned.
Besides, it makes me comparatively younger
PS How come no one caught it. There were no E320s in '86, or were there?
