Is there a webpage or a document that describes the proper procedures for aligning doors on a 99 E320?

My driver's door closes completely and there is no wind noise, but it no longer has that luxury/new-car thud like the other three doors do. It also requires a whole lot more slam to shut it completely.

If this procedure is not documented anywhere, has anyone had success making this aligment on his/her own? I tried to make the adjustments myself, but I found I was using trial and error with no logical order or process.
