buying MAE rims, need some input ladies and gents

i'm looking to pick up a set of MAE mono-block 3-piece rims; rear 19x10 and front 19x9. the tire size for the front is 235/35-19 and rear is 265/30-19.

most tuners will fit 19x9.5 in the rear and 19x8.5 in the rear. do any of you guys see a problem with having an extra half inch in width on each wheel than what is normally used? i have the koni/h&r set-up from evosport so my car is lowered but not slammed. i just want to make sure i'm not going to be scuffing tire over every bump. and there is no way i am going to risk having the fenders rolled....i dont' even think you can roll the e55's fenders, i felt under there and there was nothing to roll.

i wish i could check these specs on the MAE website but their W210 section is under construction.

thanks

bkc

19x9 and 19x10 fit the W210 no problem, as long as the offset is correct. If you have an E55, the fenders are already done so you should have no problem. If oyu can provide the offset of the ones you are getting, I can tell you if it will fit or not.

I would tell the offset myself, but we don't have any more of those wheels, and they are discontinued. Where are you getting them? I need to find a set for a customer in case you know of a shop that has a few sets laying around.

thanks for the help lee2375, i'll get the offsets this monday and check with you later. i'm getting the wheels from RPM Racing, wheel shop in boston MA that does typical bolt on gear, nothing too serious. i guess these wheels are pretty old stock for them.

25 is a bit low actually on a 9 inch rim. I wonder why you can't get the offset? 30-35 is better.
