an oil of a month
few updates.. i was so frustrated for the past month. had to take the car a total of 6 times. a short synoposis. car was leaking oil and had them change the head gasket. still leaking after that, so i bought in again to same guy and he said nothing was wrong after three looks. after i notice oil puddle, not leak, took to another dealer who notice six bolts loosed. he tighten them and problem solved until 2 weeks later., another leak..then they found oil leaking from timing chain cover. finally got car back last week. what a disaster month..so hopefully, i can begin a new life again.
btw, notice that power stearing fluid low, do u know if i need orginal mercedes fluid or not for e320.

Make sure you don't have a leak in your rack & pinion and that's why you're loosing fluid. Had a leak in mine and my mechanic mentioned that this is common on MB's with higher mileage. There isn't a gasket on the R&P box from the factory so when it leaks, you usually need to replace the box. My mechanic makes custom gaskets that fit the R&P box, loosens the screws, adds the new gasket and walla, leak is all gone...
