I would also do a full water chance before you leave (and before you medicate). Sometimes poor water or chlorine poisoning can cause a condition that looks a little like ichth.
Do not change all the water in your aquarium at once. 10% monthly is good but make sure you add water that has been standing for a few days to dissipate the chlorine.
What kind of fish do you have? I've had salt water, Discus and African Cichlids.
thanks

BTW, do have fun in Vegas!
I had Oscars before too. African Cichlids are beautiful. Some look like salt water fish with an extremely metallic blue colour. They are in the same family as Oscars. Aggressive but beautiful plus they breed a lot so you can actually sell the fry. When I sold my fish, I got $250 for them.
Looking for LM5 replicas and then lowering the car with HR springs and Konis.
I've had my 1997 E420 for about a month now. Heavy car seems slow on acceleration. Maybe cause I'm used to my 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo which has peak torque from 2000 rpm to redline. When you step on it at any speed it goes, not like the E420 where you have to wait.
275 hp is not enough. I don't race but I like to have reserve power on tap if you know what I mean. Wouldn't want to lose to a rice car!
Leafian: In case you're not aware, our cars are designed to have a much softer start, regardless of engine size/the potential power it has. I too, along with many others who changed from other brands needed to get used to the slow take off but there are things you can do to improve that (slightly) - iridium sparks, sports exhaust (or no exhaust all...per member Benz!), better airfilters/airflow enhancers (see recent K&N thread) and if you've made enough from selling fries, pulleys and a kompressor! The reserve power is there, you just need to tap it and you'll feel it most at mid-speed (not a problem taking over when the car is on the move). From a standing start, you'll really need to put your foot down to reach the hi-revs quicker to get a (slightly) better feeling - I guess u can say its a completely different driving style.
Is it a cost effective means of increasing hp?
Would a pulley make any difference on a normally aspirated car?
If so is there a pulley for my car?
Betcha didn't expect so many questions eh
The Turbjet is a simple rotating turbine that fits (actually just "drops" in) into the pipe leading to the airfilter. It is supposed to both help concentrate and speed up/increase the airflow into the engine by twisting the air, creating a "drag" effect. Although quite cheap (about US$100 and anyone can install it by themself) and it works very well with Japanese cars, as well as my ex-BMW, it doesn't seem to improve the Benz's pickup too much - maybe cos, as I'd previously said, the torque delay etc. doesn't allow the car to pick up any faster than it was originally designed. Admittedly, I only installed it cos I had it from my last car
. Having said that, I did notice improvements in fuel economy (about 5-10%), the car idles much smoother (because of the more constant airflow) and the engine seemed to reach the hi revs quicker. As for the pulley, it will work on a stock car, greatly improving HP (and torque?) but some tuning may be required (I'll leave it to the techies here to elaborate further). Yes there are ones for our cars - I think I saw one listed either on Tirerack's site or Carlsson/Lorinzer's but they're very costly.
Hope this helps.
yeah i was thinking about getting another tank and getting those oscars but i want them big,

What the heck do they feed on? Sorry 'bout the finger tho'
Lucky they're not a bunch of pirahnas.......
